Introduction and Press Conference
In 2010, we held Rock for Equality, a national event to demand equal Social Security benefits for America’s same-sex couples. Lawmakers took notice, and on April 26, 2012 at the steps of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., U.S. Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) will introduce legislation to end this discrimination! Join George Takei, Hal Sparks, and other special guests for this historic occasion! This event is open to the public.

Date and Time: Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
Location: The House Triangle (located on the House side of the Capitol’s east front in Washington, D.C. - click here for location specifics) N.B.—In case of inclement weather, press conference will be held in the Gabriel Zimmerman Meeting Room (HVC-215) in the Capitol Visitors Center at 11:30am on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
